First time to stay in the hospital! 一輩子第一次住院

January 15-16 , 2026 二零二六年一月15-16日

We give thanks to the Lord. Papa Frank Liu is doing fine from the recovery. A big patch on his eye; a drain tube from his neck. We can drive back home on Wed. after the check up on Tuesday. Mama Liu stays with him in the room tonight. Frank will be discharged in the morning.

我們感謝主。Papa Frank Liu 恢復得很好。他眼睛上貼著一塊罩眼紗布，脖子上還插著一條引流管。週二複查拆除之後，我們週三就可以開車回家了。Mama Liu今晚會陪他待在病房。Papa Liu 明天早上就可以出院了。感謝大家的祈禱！

Mama Liu has been a busy caregiver. Have not had time to reply messages or update the website. Sorry. 💗

January 21-23, 2026 二零二六年 一月21-23日

Both surgeons have asked Frank to return for check-up.
Bandage Patch was off; the drain tube was out, both doctors carefully examined the areas and are very pleased with the wounds are healing in good progress, which is a huge boost for us too.
Now we can drive back home to rest for another week before we come back for further appointments on Proton Therapy.
** We are still waiting for the pathology report. Dr. Goepfert reminded us that it does not indicate any significance of the results according to when to receive it.
We will continue to wait patiently with trusting the doctors would want to know more than we do and know what to do accordingly.
“Wait patiently with Trust in Me” is a constant reminder for life.

两位医生都要求Frank回来复诊。 揭開了紗布、拔去了引流管，看見所有伤口都恢复得很好。他们对进展非常满意，这也给了我们很大的鼓舞。我们可以感恩地开车回家休息一周，然后再回来继续下一步的質子治療。

我們會耐心等候也相信我們的醫生們比我們更想知道結果並且會積極作成對應的治療。

Mama Liu was exhausted and physically tired and came so close to a break-down, but, through Praise and Thanksgiving with an online Young Adult Bible Study group on Saturday night, she’s able to turn around. They also went through Chambers’ My Utmost for His Highest on January 22, Am I Looking to God?
