With all the changes, our son flew in from California just two days prior to the Proton treatment. He took us to visit NASA where he visited when he was in a stroller in 1983.
藉著種種變更，我們的兒子剛好在質子治療前兩天從加州飛來，也因此帶我們去了NASA 美國宇航中心。這是他1983年還在嬰兒車裡的時候去過的地方。
This is a wonderful experience to once again marvel at God’s creation through men’s collective achievement. We are grateful to have the perspective to see the incomparably beautiful earth that God creates for us to live and enjoy.
We appreciate Milton taking some time off from work to visit and especially for him to accompany his dad to go to the first Proton treatment at Proton center across the street from Hospitality Apartments.
In addition, MD Anderson Cancer Center provides a shuttle service every 30 minutes to different locations from this apartment. What a blessing!
再次透過人類的集體成就來驚嘆於上帝的創造，真是再一次奇妙的體驗。我們感恩能夠從太空和月球這樣的視角來欣賞上帝為我們創造的這片無比美麗的地球，祂讓我們得以生活和享受這無與倫比美麗的大地。
我們感謝神讓兒子恩瑜抽出時間探望我們，特別感謝神讓他有機會陪同父親前往位於公寓對面的質子治療中心接受首次質子治療。
另外，這所公寓每天每隔30分鐘都有MD Anderson癌症中心的接駁車負責接送到不同的地點。這也是神好大的恩典！
Jack was Milton’s Academy mate twenty years ago.
This crew has gone to the space two weeks ago and will stay there for 8 months!
Jack is a great guy and fun to be with according to Milton.
This wonderful crew is composed of people from three different countries.

After the third day of Proton treatment, we meet with the Oncologist. According to the pathology report, they suggest to use chemotherapy on top of Proton to give more potency to treat Papa Liu’s rare and aggressive kind of cancer. Papa Liu was a little disappointed with this new development which is not what was expected.
Once again we simply trust God to continue His care through this process.
質子治療第三天后，我們見了另一位腫瘤科醫師。根據病理報告，醫生建議在質子治療的基礎上加用化療，以增強治療效果。 因為Papa Liu所患的是罕見且擴展性極強的癌症。Papa Liu對這個出乎意料的治療方案感到有些失望。
我們再次將一切交託給上帝，相信祂會繼續眷顧我們，帶領我們渡過這段艱難的時期。
Please pray for minimum or none reaction toward the Proton Therapy and Chemotherapy.
Pray for this special trial time to experience God’s presence and more intimate relationship.
