Right in time to be shut in…On the road again 即時趕在冰雪前回家被封。。。10天後再次上路

January 21 – February 2 , 2026

Thanks to God for driving back home right in time to avoid the icy winter storm. After 10 days of rest at home, we are on the road again on February 2 to see the Oral Oncologist and to start the simulation for Proton Therapy this week. However, there’s a glitch. Dr. A. Moreno could not go on with simulation unless Dr. Sagiv cut open the stitched part from the first surgery. It was an intense time to make a decision in coordinating the schedule for surgery and the simulation and Proton Therapy. And we had to extend the stay for three more days suddenly. Thank God’s provision, a loving, kind Christian sister invited us to stay at her warm house in The Woodlands. Li is such a hospitable hostess with compassion. Can you believe this is the first time we met in person? She only attended my online Freedom in Christ, the discipleship class two years ago. What a love and kindness in Christ!
感謝天父，讓我們及時趕回家，避開了要在德州冰天雪地中開車的危險。在家休息了十天后，我們於2月2日再次啟程，去看口腔腫瘤科醫生，並開始質子治療的模具製作。然而，事情出現了一些小插曲。 Moreno醫生說，除非Sagiv醫生切開第一次手術縫合口，否則模擬無法進行。當時的情況非常緊張，我們需要協調手術、模擬和質子治療的時間表。而且，我們不得不臨時延長三天的行程，卻還沒有住處。感謝上帝的安排，一位充滿愛心和恩慈的基督徒姐妹邀請我們去她位於伍德蘭茲的溫暖家中暫住。 Li是一位熱情款待、充滿愛心的女主人。你能相信嗎？這是我們第一次見面！她在兩年前參加過我線上的「在基督裡得自由」門徒訓練課程。這在基督的愛和恩惠，多麼令人感動，！

Reconstruction of the Eyelid

February 5, 2026

February 5, Thursday, Dr. Sagiv did the reconstruction. It is a minor one this time. Thank the Lord!
It is incredible to see the long hours Dr. Sagiv is operating on patients. The senior nurse said coffee keeps him going! She said no worry, the surgeons are going like machine!
Two days later, Frank started to use his right eye sight again! How wonderful to use two eyes instead of only one!
2月5日，星期四，薩吉夫醫生為Papa Frank Liu右眼做了整容復健手術。幸而這次只是個小手術。感謝上帝！

薩吉夫醫生每天長時間為病人做手術，真是令人難以置信。一位資深的護士說咖啡是他保持精力充沛的秘訣！她說，不用擔心，這些外科手術大夫像機器一樣！！

兩天后，Papa Frank Liu可以使用他的右眼了！能用兩隻眼睛而不是一隻眼看東西真是太好了！

Pathology Report from the Surgeries on Jan. 15
一月15日的病理報告

Last week we finally received most part of the Pathology report. According to our medical professor friends, it looks pretty good with removing the cancers at eyelid area with extended area at the nose bridge. There were one major lymph node and 9 little ones removed, but the pathology report on this part is not complete yet.
上週我們終於收到了大部分病理報告。據我們醫學教授朋友說，眼瞼及鼻樑區域的癌症切除情況看起來不錯。頸部部份切除了一個較大的淋巴結和九個小的淋巴結，但這部份的病理報告尚未完成。
